an April wedding  of John Michael,  only son of late Mr Herbert Hudson and Mrs Hudson,  of Gwavas,  Tikokino,  Hawke's Bay  to  Hon. Carola Browne,  elder daughter of Lord and Lady Kilmaine,  at St Martin's,  Braster,  Kent. -----  they will leave England in July to live at Tokokino ------  the bridesmaids were cousins of Mr Hudson,  7yr old Nicola Carlyon-Wilson -----   and Ann Lowry ----   best man was Christopher Carter. -----

Rosemary, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs Allan McFarlane,  to  John Edward Francis Beck,  photographed with her attendants,  Alison Howard,  sister of the bride,  Sally Gieson Judith Sigley,  sister of the bridegroom,  and Anne Mitchell.  The bridegroom is the only son of Mr and Mrs A.J.Beck  of Karori,  Wellington,  the ceremony  was at St Stephen's Church,  Marton.

Margaret Mary,  youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs D. Heffernan,  of Palmeston,  Otago   to  Thomas More,  youngest son of Mr and Mrs C.B. Lynch,  of Waikari,  Dunedin.  The attendants were  Marie  and Ann,  sisters of the bride.

Elizabeth,  only daughter of Mr and Mrs B.Kelly,  Timaru,  and Michael,  elder son of Mr and Mrs E.C. Gibbs,  of Hamilton,  married at St Mary's Church,  Timaru.  Mr and Mrs Gibbs  will make their home in Wellington,  where the bridegroom is a member of the National Orchestra.

at New Plymouth,  Mary Rose,  daughter of Mr and Mrs J.F. King, of New Plymouth,  to  Istvan,  elder son of  Mr and Mrs Arpad Szigetvary,  of Auckland. 
and a great grandson of the late Mr Hugh Irvine,  one of the original settlers at Urenui.

 Mrs Robertson, of Edinburgh,  decided 1 yr ago to leave Edinburgh and move to her daughter in Tasmania ----- a daughter Mrs J.S.Tullett, living in NZ, she lives in Blengeim now with her daughter  ----- loves it here,
