Accident  - PRICE  -
as Mr & Mrs Price,  cattle-dealer was riding homewards on the Fendalton Road, ----- a dog ran out and frightened his horse --  Mr Price was thrown -
--  some of his ribs were broken  ----

-  members of the Ellesmere Farmers Club  --presented Rev. W.J.G.Bluett with a testimonial ----  handsome gold watch and silver cup -----  lots more

FRASER 
-  John Fraser was charged with being a stowaway on board  ss Taranaki.  the purser Mr MOSS.  proved the offense ----

-   Mr Hamel was drowned in crossing the overflow south of the Opawa River -----

Wellington  - 
MASON 
-   Mr Mason,  an old settler,  died suddenly yesterday.  At the inquest the verdict was death from natural causes.

Dunedin  - 
McILROY 
-  McIlroy,  prop. of the Gridiron Hotel  was found dead in rear of the Golden Age ----
